After Vodafone it's now Google where a new Remote Ordering & Payment solution is launched for use by their employees.
While Vodafone already gave their employees the option to easily pre-order and pay for lunch items at their canteen from a mobile app. Google is taking it one step further by presenting 14 new dinner options per week which can be delivered to the office by Bilder & De Clerq before 5pm.
"The aim of the chefs at Bilder & de Clercq is to encourage you to cook at home. But every so often for a special occasion, you’d rather be a guest than slaving away all day in the kichen….. and that’s where we come in."
With a simple tap of their phone* on a meal image or via a tap on the item straight from the mobile app users can quickly and easily order and prepay for their food items.
At Vodafone this saves the employees time and frustration during lunch time as they can now by-pass these two queues and go straight to the pick-up point and off to enjoy their meals when they simply pre-ordered and paid via their mobile phones.
In a cooperation between Google, Bilder & De Clerq and our partner YesTap a great new Android app was developed for Bilder & de Clercq.
By providing the exact measured ingredients and easy cooking instructions from Bilder & de Clercq, Google manages to provide easy access to healty food with loads of time saved for their employees.
And as a bonus they no longer have to worry about "what to eat tonight? " or hurry to a supermarket with it's pesky check-out lanes.
It's great to see such a quick and positive adoption of new technology at these innovative companies. Now let us inspire you with more great examples on how our apps can be used. Let's talk!
*For Tap & Pay use a phone needs to have a Near Field Communication (NFC) Chip.
Most new Android and Windows Phones have a build in NFC chip as has only the new iPhone 6.
